The hope-crushing announcement came in response to a petition on the 10 Downing Street e-petitions site, which called for the legalisation of elephants as pets. 'We believe that every child in the UK would benefit from owning an elephant,' began the petition, started by one Jack Smithies. 'It was my dream as a child to care for these magnificent creatures but at the age of twelve I find that nobody takes me seriously. We would like to make it legal to import african/indian elephants from africa/india to sell in pet shops across the UK.' But their pleas fell on deaf ears, as the Government responded to the petition with schoolmistress-like 'no.'

I haven't updated in a hella long time.  because i have a my space and a xanga and a livejournal.  and no time in which to blog.  mostly because i'm kind of thinking about wedding planning stuff in addition to school work stuffage.  

oh yeah, if anyone on here doesn't know, Ryan and I are engaged.  so hooray!

I'm so busy. Why did I decide to take 17 credits? I do this every year, take a hell of a bunch of credits during marching season.

I'm f'ing pissed at those rookie trombones who don't listen to me during halftime. I don't pull rank, but they suck at figuring out how things work in this band, so i might have to explain things.

I always push the space bar in the same place with my right thumb and now the keyboard has gone all smooth right there. It's about the neatest thing ever.

I want marching band to be over. I mean, I like it, but it's about time for a break. Or at least indoor concert time.

I miss my love bunny man cupcake awesomeo handsome Ryan.

I'm excited for halloween!!!!!!!!! I'm going as the girl in Indiana Jones who blinks and has "love you" written on her eyelids, and Ryan's going as Professor Jones. Neat! couples costume! it's such a cheesy thing, i like it, it's my first couples costume.

I know I haven't updated in a long time.
And on Friday, Leadership/spat camp starts, so I won't be updating for quite a while.
Good stuff.

I don't really have anything to say right now, besides that Jaime's bridal shower is on Sunday and I feel terrible that I really haven't had time to help much. Boo Beka. (haha boob.)
I've been cleaning up the house and stuff because i basically lived in a pile of crap and yeah, that wasn't good.
My bike is getting fixed today because it, also, is terrible and has a back tire that goes flat about every time i use it. But I have to talk to Diem about what days I'm missing for brass and stuff, so I might go do that at the same time. I'm taking my bike to a new shop because I don't think my usual bike guys actually look at what's going on with the bike. Plus an old family friend works at this one i'm planning on taking it to, so I'll say hi to her.
